The Dawn of a New Era

I haz energy swardz!

With 2009 upon us, I decided to make my first New Year resolution ever: MORE CONTENT! I have a lot of exciting projects lined up for the this year and I hope you join me for the ride. Yes I know,  my RSS feed has been cold for the past month but that’s because I had to refocus my efforts to make sure that what I plan on unveiling is worth both the time and effort. So stay tuned to Byte Size Reviews as we bring random content right into your home. Or iPhone. Or computer. Or whatever you use to consume electronic entertainment.

Also next week, yours truly will be in Vegas for CES. I hope to bring you a look at this industry event like you’ve never seen it before.

I’m usually not one for dressing up when it comes to Halloween and when I do, I just go for stuff that’s around the house. This, however, is a different story. For only a $100 and a few hours of work, I can have custom made armor from the Halo universe! Why wouldn’t I want to do this?

The awesome team at Indy Mogul put together is quick video to show the masses how they can have their very own suit of armor. Also, if you never checked out their features called Backyard FX, I highly recommend checking them out. With a little time and patience, I could make a ridiculous cool movie in my apartment. Decisions, decisions.

Now if I can get 40 other people in Orlando to make a suit, we can take over downtown next year.

Grand Theft Auto 4: Jobs for Little Jacob from Kryptinite on Vimeo.

After 40 plus hours of game time and with 72% of the game completed, I finally beat my first Grand Theft Auto game ever! I’ve played every game in the series thus far and Grand Theft Auto 4 is the first game that actually kept my attention long enough to see it through until the end. Without doing a huge review on it, I’ll just say that I really enjoyed the story and how it kept me guessing throughout the game. I was somewhat emotionally invested in Niko and I just wanted to see the man catch a break.

Now that I’ve beaten the game, it’s time to make some videos! This video displays an easy way to do Jacob’s side missions. I fell in love with the public transportation in the game and used it every chance I got. I’ve logged probably 400 miles in a taxi alone!

I really should get back to Lost Odyssey before Ninja Gaiden II and Metal Gear Solid 4 come out but this is the life of a gamer. Sometimes we don’t finish all the games we start.

I’m just starting to get this blog off the ground and I’m hoping for great things in the future. To know where you are headed in life, you must know where you come from. After the break lies early test subjects of my reviewing skills. Feel free to laugh, I know I did.
